Our Mission

The Hawai`i Explorer project was conceived and created by our small Hanalei-based team of long-time island residents, ocean enthusiasts and surfers. Our care for Hawai`i, its residents, and its visitors inspired us to develop a project that serves to provide the most inclusive and authentic ocean safety, beach preservation and island activity information found anywhere.

Hawai`i Explorer is.

• A community of visitors and Hawai`i residents who love the outdoors

Hawai`i Explorer is among an emerging field of organizations operating with a new approach to business and philanthropy. We call this model "for profit, for good." Profits made go right back into perpetuating the project and its purpose - Hawai`i Explorer is gonna get better and better.
